  1. Is this problem fixed? Do you need any further help? If not, you can set one of the answers as "solution" so other users can see that your problem was fixed
  2. Accidentally quoted myself, glad it's working
  3. First of all, for pasting code please use code tags. You can find them in the edit post bar marked by <> icon. It will make it easier for people to read the code and edit it if neede. Now to your problem: Instead of using s1 == "boy" use s1.equals("boy") "==" operator checks whether references to s1 and "boy" are equal. ".equals" method checks actual contents. You can read about it more here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/767372/java-string-equals-versus
  4. What kind of data do you get is it a picture? a vector graphic?
  5. By the looks of the store contents, EA may be the ones to call.
  6. If you want to buy something in bulk (friends, classmates etc.) cheap and ok are some fun underwear/socks. If it's a personalized gift, maybe a mug? I don't how much they cost in the Land of Freedom though
  7. Why can't you just have your game folder copied to a special folder with file name indicating date of backup that's backed up to the cloud account? I do it for my databases and it works fine. You can use xcopy command to copy contents of your game folder to another folder. I do it every time at 8 p.m. or if my computer is not running at 8 p.m. and it's going to run at when my computer starts.
  8. Hi! I am creating a software for my company and I need some help with naming it. In my company, there is a "tradition" of calling your software in a funny/pun'y way (while still keeping it informative and simple). My software will be a part of test environment, it will be responsible for testing user interface, databases and do other stuff on a tested-system side (starting/killing processes etc.). It will also be very modular so you can easily add new modules. Since there are many creative people here, do you have any funny ideas for its name?
  9. Get an USB extension hub and stick it to the back of the monitor. You can connect to it either mouse and keyboard or just keyboard. Mouse cable looks fine to me
  10. Even though it is a solution, you should parameterize your query to not worry about code injection. I didn't think it was a big deal until I played with some shitty high school website and found out that I was able to inject JavaScript into a group name or something like that and completely fucked the website. At least the admin probably learned.
  11. Ryzen + GTX 1060 6GB would be a good combo for you. I'm not sure how much GPUs cost now, but I think it would fit in the budget.
  12. Why is it a problem to get major and minor version and choose the name on your version name based on that? Also, what if OS is not Windows?
  13. - Get better CPU for editing (Ryzen 7 1700 would be ok IMO) -Get more RAM for editing - Do you need 1080 for gaming (do you want 1440p/4k)? If you want to play 1080p then 1060 6GB or 1070 (or 1070Ti) would be better - 750W probably a bit of an overkill. (But not sure how much Ryzen + 1080 would draw)
