Disk Usage Spikes to 100%

Very randomly but also quite frequently my PC starts to lag like crazy and whenever I open up Task Manager it always shows disk usage at 100%. When it starts to go back down the lag starts to go away and everything functions normally. I have no clue why disk usage goes up to 100% randomly.|
anyone have any idea why this might be happening and how to fix it?
could it be a hardware problem perhaps or mostly some software bug or smthn

I hate when people don't give more information, like how am I supposed to help you without asking you questions?

 

From your specs listed, you have an NVMe SSD for boot and another SATA SSD? On which SSD does this problem occur, the boot one? In task manager, what do you see hogging up disk I/O?
