Tilted NH-D15S tilted

I just got a new NH-D15S and when I took it out to mount it I noticed that it is tilted to one side. Is this normal. I haven’t seen any photos that make it appear to have a tilt but it also shows no evidence of damage. So wanted to see if this is normal.

No, this is absolutely not normal.  I have never seen anything like this before.

That's insane.

 

The heatpipes and everyhing looks solid but there are some weird marks that shouldn't be there.

This has to be returned or RMA'd. This is not how its supposed to be at all.

Seems to be broken sadly. If you take a look at the box or really any image on Google, you'll see that it looks nothing like that. I'd return it.

I can only presume this was a damaged returned item before OP got it considering the box looks to be immaculate.
