Minimum Distance 28 inch 4K monitor?

depends, what do you find comfortable?

i would say 1 armlength

IDK. I am currently "gaming" on a 13" 720p Macbook Pro and the distance to it is about 20 - 25 cm.

What the title says.

Well I sit about 60cm away from my TN 1366x 768 monitor built into my laptop so for the 28" 4K monitor, I'd sit where I am or get a long cord for my peripherals and sit 1.5m away. @ViruZ_HUN I have posted in the blogging section about X99 having an upto 18 core xeon but might mean more core count processors which are overclockable.

I just checked my UD590 and the pixels are JUST visible from about 5-6 inches away, and it's really not comfortable to sit that close to it anyway.

Roughly a metre, I think.

That is unachievable for me. The max i can sit away from it is 50 cm.

TF2 (with chris config) and World of Tanks (with a mod that makes the game look like SHIIIT) xD

 

Tried planetside 2 but i got 2 fps.

I personally dislike Mac users as well. I just turned 16 and i bought the laptop when i was 13 so i was uneducated in this field of computer hardware back then (2011).

To make up for it, i installed windows 7 on it and have not used OS X since that installation.

I will be building a 4K Gaming Rig in about 2 months time and i cannot wait ;)

I sit about 65-70cm away from a 24" monitor, so I'd say around 75cm is ideal for a 28" screen. Also you can't see pixels from 56cm+.
