Star Trek Lighted poster. What power supply do I need?

I recently found one of these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/266643427368
I know it takes an 1/8th inch jack and I even found someone explaining the specs of the original power supply:
input: 120VAC 60Hz 10w
Output: 12VDC
300mA
Class 2 Transformer
Positive Center {ie. + ---0)--- - }
(The original adapter is a Model: WD1E3006PTP)
I'm having trouble finding something compatible.

I have a box of old power supplies of course haha.  The problem is the barrel jack like the one you linked didn't fit.  An 1/8th inch jack did (like an aux cable).  So I was thinking I needed something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Volt-Power-Adapter-3-5mm-Connector/dp/B0B11PDNF7

Oh what. Wait you have the poster already?

Got a pic of the socket? Possibly can figure out from there.

Either way thats waaay different from what I've seen with a quick google

When you shine in there with a light there is no pin in the middle?

This seems to me like it will end up being a buy the end of the connector and solder it to a random 12v psu.

Why do they do that, it is gross using audio connectors for power, can end up damaging stuff if someone starts wildly plugging it into things.

Anyway:

If you can find a power supply suitable with the correct tip.

I have seen a few of the 3.5mm tips as an add on accessory to suit the interchangeable tip type power supplies.

Like so:

https://www.radioparts.com.au/product/30978030/pw8030-35mm-mono-interchangeable-dc-to-suit-switchmode-ps-to-suit-switchmode-ps

To give you an idea of something that may be available.

Other options using a suitable power supply without the right tip.

Somewhat more difficult, yet nicer longterm is cut the barrel plug off a suitable power supply and solder on a 3.5mm mono plug.

Easier slightly less nice option is minus the soldering and use a 3.5mm mono to screw terminal plug.

Chunkier, worse from a pull-out/strain relief angle but convenient and good for testing.
