Can CPU undervolt with PBO cause game crash ?

I did undervolt for Ryzen 5900X with PBO and it pass all synthetic test no crash and in most game it run fine but there is few game I get randomly crash can it be due CPU undervolt ? Yesterday play game screen freeze for few sec and PC reboot but most time just game crash. I can do -25 negative curve and it pass no problem synthetic test but few game than start crash I found that one game stop crash after set -15 negative but other still keep crash especially if push graphic to max.

did you OC your GPU?

No just undervolt as well but I think GPU can cause PC reboot after game crash so is likely not GPU problem.

And why then one game stop crash after change CPU negative curve to -15 from -25?

Yes. The curve optimizer is known for causing issues like this, where it will pass all the stress tests you throw at it yet it crashes when opening something like File Explorer.

but you still said other games keep crashing when you reduce the curve to -15,

your simplest solution is to try to reset the curve to 0 and see if that helps,

also how's your PSU, can it handle your GPU?

I think  it's not problem for Seasonic PX 850 Platinum handle Ryzen 5900X + 4070 Ti by default settings my PC can draw about ~520W  from wall but in that include monitor as well and this is almost in unrealistic scenario that push GPU, CPU to it's limit.

I should try disable PBO but I have trash cooler I need do undervolt due 240 AIO is struggling to handel temp with this CPU. Decent AIO is super expensive 300-350$ and with air cooler I don't know it they will be better than this AIO. Another problem with top tier air cooler that they super bulky.

have you tried temps with gaming? because if you test synthetic for temps you're doing all core while gaming can use less cores

With my 5900X it is best to reduce curve to -26 all core, run boost override to +200, and set PPT/TDC/EDC to 260/170/190. I see high boost in light load, and heavy load conditions. It will use the full 260w.

Performance is a bit sucky at stock conditions. It loves the juice.

Well I tested with 0 and game still crash but less common. Now  I'm really not understand if something wrong with CPU itself or with this game if I set -25 it crash non stop but with 0 still crash but not that many. I tested with different graphic settings from low to max and from what I seen is not problem in graphic settings due no matter settings it crash. I found that some people sayd that frame generation can cause games crash but without it I hard hit even 60 FPS.
