JST-SM ARGB connection to motherboard without adapter/converter?

Hello Peeps. I got some Deepcool ARGB casing fans from a Deepcool Mattrex case .But these fans have 3 pin JSTSM connector and I wasn't provided any converter. So is there any way to use ARGB on these fans without any converter/hub/ splitter? live in a kind of remote area so hard to get anything

IMO, not without some DIY which most likely will be needing you to buy at least a cable with suitable connector.

Which Deepcool Matrexx btw ?

motherboards don't have that connector, so no you can't.

JST to ARGB Cables are fairly cheap tho:

Does it come with a fan hub slash rgb controller ?

From the pics on Matrexx 55 product page, there seems to be some sort of daisy-chained JST with one end terminating to standard RGB connector.

https://www.deepcool.com/products/Cases/2021/11957.shtml

edit: since you showed 3pins, I'm guessing it's one of Matrexx 55 ARGB variant.

The manual for each of them shows adapter cables, though I dunno if it is supposed to come with it or not (AFAIK, usually does, atleast for well known brand).

If going for DIY route, you first have to figure out which wire for what on the fan side.

Buy a standard RGB cable with connector on one end, strip one end of each wires

Solder the stripped sides together with correct pinout.
