Any advice on how i should set up security on this PC. It is gonna be used by about 4 people. But we need to limit access to these people. But we would prefer to use a complex password with like access security keys so we can authorise them when we need to. Any idea how to set this up.

Also thank you guys for helping me set this up ❤️

I know. But it’s different from like passmark because of how much data you need. To find an average of benchmarks, you only need a couple scores. To attempt to predict things, for each cpu, with the million outside factors, is very difficult. Again; have you tried to make a pc bottleneck ai?

No I haven't tried, that's why I use free sources

One last time: are you right? And everyone else is wrong? Or are you wrong, and everybody else is right. Occam’s razor my bro. And if u really want to disprove it, give accurate evidence. Like if every comparing service had a 20% margin of error, would people still use them?

I don't know what I'm trying to prove. What is this for again?

… so listen to those who know how it works. In not saying you have to. I’m just saying I know why it can’t work unless you have the treasure trove of data like Nvidia does

Use your brain. If everyone who’s more experienced than you disagrees, why would you be right? Are you just a genius that no-one else can compare to? Or are you a rookie making a very obvious mistake.

I follow advice that pc building content creators tell everyone, no need to get so mad at me that you have to try and spite me every reply, I'm not saying anyone is wrong nor am I wrong. I was also trying to teach you how to use the tool that I use to check for bottlenecks (not 100% accurate but accurate enough) for gaming.

You aren't listening to me, I listened to higher ups to get the knowledge to teach you how to use the website and it isn't completely inaccurate

It's still pretty useful information for people like me who don't make pc's my entire interest, it gives a better understanding of what each 'thing' means. I was trying to teach the guy how to use the pcbuilds bottleneck calc for gaming and he got upset at me 😞

Budget (including currency): 615,000 LKR

Country: Srilanka

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Video editing, Rendering, and multitasking these. ex: After effects, Premier pro etc

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I believe that I have made 2 possible quotations with my budget, but I'm contemplating whether to go with more Vram since the memory bus is small and whether it will have any impact on raw performance. and I tried to get a 4070 but it's way above our budget.

any help is appreciated and thanks in advance!

Okay so marking the end of this topic, I went with a Intel Core I5 4600K and the RTX 4070. As it excels in my workload.

I was looking into getting a few security keys, to allow access when needed. But there are no locally sourceable Yubi keys or other security keys. Is there anyway I can make my own?
