Need help choosing the correct RAM

Go to solution Solved by ShadowCaptain,

Hey, I just wanted to know which memory is the best according to the specifications of it like timings and volts. The motherboard I will be using is the ASUS Maximus VII Ranger z97 and the CPU will be the i5-4670K. The system will be mainly used for gaming.

Makes near as no difference for gaming , (also I have this ram, its amazing)

I am using the 2400mhz because a few programs (and BF4) take advantage of it, the 1866mhz kit is probably the best though, as it has low timings but still with a fast frequency

This too is what I would suggest, keep in mind that RAM speed is depend both on the frequency and the timings (low frequency is super fast timings is faster than high frequency with slow timings).

15" MBP TB

AMD 5800X | Gigabyte Aorus Master | EVGA 2060 KO Ultra | Define 7 || Blade Server: Intel 3570k | GD65 | Corsair C70 | 13TB
