Telemetry & Data monitoring/blocking app for Android ?

Is there any app for android that works as a telemetry and data monitor to block unwanted data gathering ?

 

Dont want to root my new phone and potential brick it so I was hoping there was an app that would just block what is there by default.

Not an app but you can reduce telemetry to some extent via DNS blocking. I use NextDNS to block MS and Google pinging home with some stuff.

The Rethink DNS app on the play store. Uses local VPN method to gatekeep internet access. Control access per-app, and lets you select from multiple blocklists. If you don't like that, it allows you to set whatever DNS you want. Able to wireguard proxy.
