So the only problem with VRAM will occur in the future when games will require more than 8GB, I should aim for the fastest one.

Last question to everyone is about Intel Arc a770. I ve read that they face a lot of driver issues and some aren’t playable. Is that the case right now?

@Xkillerpn 6800xt used in my country costs 400+ 😞

You should aim for the fastest card 🙂  This being the 3060Ti in your list.

Even in games that require more VRAM in a few years the 3060Ti will still beat the 3060, the 3060 can't take advantage of all its VRAM because its too slow.

Hello everyone,

I’m in the process of choosing parts for a new pc and I honestly am really confused on what GPU I should choose, which I will use for gaming.

I am looking to spend around at max 300-320 euros and in this price I find the cards below:

Radeon rx 7600 8GB 270€

Radeon rx 6700 10GB 315€

Nvidia rtx 4060 8GB 300€

Nvidia rtx 3060 ti 8GB 315€

Intel A770 16GB 325€(which I read isn’t good for gaming and have issues with drivers)

The CPU that I am going to buy is Ryzen 5 7600.

Thank you all in advance.

4060 = 3060ti its a total scam, 7600 xt or 7650 xt will be good if your on a budget and intel arc is well not that great.

And best price to performance ratio unless your on a really tight budget than a 3060 or rx 7600 would be good.

Obviously.  But the 3060Ti is within the budget of @Achilles519 so that is the card to get.

So it’s speed over GPU’s ram, because 6700 has 10GB, but the others 8GB.

Also, @goatedpenguin mentioned 3060 which is cheaper than 3060ti (although slower) but is 12GB.

I am wondering what will be the best value for money now and in 2-3 years where games will use more ram if that can be “calculated” (sorry I don’t know the proper word in English)

I'd go with the 6700

AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D | Gigabyte B550M DS3H Rev 1.7 | Kingston Fury X 32GB DDR4 (2X16) 2666MHz | Gigabyte RX 6800 GAMING OC 16G |

Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE | 3X Rakk Maris Pro 120mm RGB Fans | Rakk Dulus Case | Gigabyte GP-P650G 650W 80+ GOLD Certified Active PFC

Lexar NM710 M.2 1TB NVMe SSD Gen 4 | Crucial MX500 500GB 3D NAND SATA

KOORUI 24E3. 24" 1080p Gaming Monitor, 165Hz Refresh Rate, IPS Panel

The 3060 Ti is a bad choice because of the amount of VRAM.

But most of the mid range are 8GB? So should I avoid these ones and go for the RX 6700 with 10GB or 3060 with 12GB?

I know you are probbaly looking for something new, but have a look at the used market, a 6800xt for example, its an amazing card and not expensive.

The 3060 is too slow to even take advantage of the 12 GB of VRAM it has.

The 3060Ti IS faster even with less VRAM.

People get too hung up on VRAM these days, yes its important but if a card is slower with 60GB of VRAM... Its slower. It really is that simple.

There is a lot more going on than just VRAM.

The 3060Ti is the fastest card in your list for gaming.
