DeepCool AG400 - awesome for Ryzen 5 5600

Filingo

Just wanted to share my experience for anyone that sees this in the future and may also need a cooler for a similar setup

I bought a Ryzen 5 5600 from AliExpress without a cooler so I used the Ryzen 5 3600 stock cooler I had, and my temps were reaching 90C and the PC was thermal throttling during gaming.

So I just looked for the cheapest cooler that may cool the Ryzen 5 5600 and got the AG 400 for $23. It was on a sale with the 2 fans version (AG400 Plus), but I am only using 1 fan on the heatsink anyway so it's like getting the single fan version. The single fan version was only $19 but as you can see I am using the second fan as a case fan :D, so awesome fan for $4.

The fan model is DF1202512CM (12VDC 0.17A)

The installation was easy, and the screws are the spring-type screws so it's really helping when you screw the heatsink down because the screw stops turning and you don't need to worry about applying too little/too much force.

Outside temp was 20C.

Running Prime95 for 30 minutes, the temps are ranging between 55 to 65, and the fans are very quiet, quieter than the ones on my Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120

Results from HWMonitor:

Update #1: Tested with HWiNFO64 as suggested as well, these are the results after running Prime95 again for about 30 minutes, and outside temp remained around 20C

Update #2: I am using a very old case, one of those late 90's/early 2000's white cases which have poor ventillation, and still the temps are good (the case was closed during testing):
