7800x3d hitting 3.8ghz

During medium load such as playing a fairly CPU intensive game, my 7800x3d hits 3.8ghz or 4ghz on some cores and randomly shoot to 4.8ghz to 5ghz only to come back and another core shoot to 5ghz again. It looks like the cores that are being used are random and those clocks fluctuate A LOT. Is this something I should be worrying about or is this some dynamic core parking?
I don't know if it is relevant but, I did undervolt it to -20 fastest and second fastest and -25 the rest.
Your CPU's behavior is normal under varying loads and utilization. When only a few cores are actively used, the CPU can boost those cores to higher clock speeds, resulting in a performance boost. However, when all cores are heavily utilized, the CPU's clock speeds might decrease slightly to manage the overall workload efficiently.
To illustrate, imagine a car that's capable of reaching 300km/h in a short time. If you load the car with heavy passengers and luggage, it might take longer to reach that speed, and even then, it might not hit the maximum speed of 300km/h, possibly reaching around 295km/h instead. Similarly, your CPU dynamically adjusts its clock speeds based on workload demands to maintain optimal performance without exceeding thermal or power limits.
processors, like the 5800X3D, have built-in algorithms that monitor the workload on each core and adjust clock speeds accordingly. When the workload is light or focused on a few cores, the processor can boost the clock speeds higher on those specific cores, providing better single-threaded performance. This is why you see some cores occasionally hitting 4.8 to 5 GHz.
