PSU doesn’t have a cable for a GPU.

Hi, I recently purchased a computer and a graphics card so I could do some lightweight gaming on it. I bought a GTX 650 as an upgrade to the Intel HD Graphics 530; however, the PSU is missing the power cable needed for the GPU. I don’t think you can add cables to the PSU if I’m not mistaken, so is there any way I can power this GPU? Here is the computer by the way: https://nixsys.com/nx110-50

Are there any more powerful PSUs with a 6-pin connector that may fit in this PC?

You can buy a RX 6400 from AMD, its a decent GPU and does not require extra power cables as it draws all its power from the motherboards PCIE slot ( 75w )

It will destroy the GTX 650 in terms of performance.

Buying a GPU that does not require external power is your best bet here.

A used 1050 Ti would work wonders too 🙂 ( Some models require power, some do not )

There are various power supplies you can get that use the SFX power supply if you're wanting to use a more powerful graphics card.

What are the actual specs of your PC? I think that what I'm seeing when I click on the link are simply the defaults already selected.

Thanks, but I need a GPU with DVI-I and DVI-D on it.

You can buy HDMI to DVI-I and DVI-D adapters, they are like 2-3 bucks 🙂

The specs I chose for my computer are:

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700

RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4

Primary Drive: WD Standard 1TB HDD

Secondary Drive: None

Optical Drive: DVD RW Drive

Video Adapter: On-Board Graphics (Intel HD Graphics 530)

Network Adapter: 300Mb/s Wireless N300 PCIe Adapter

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit dual booted with Linux Mint

What is your budget?

Hopefully something not too expensive. As long as it is better than most integrated graphics and can play dolphin emulator then it works for me. It also needs DVI-D (for a gateway LCD of mine) and DVI-I (for a Compaq MV940 CRT I have)
