Silicon power ssd any good?

Looking at a couple of Silicon Power P34A60 ssds, haven't used their gear before and am pretty out of the loop with storage 

 

quality anygood? just needed for general use computing

That's a pretty underwhelming NVME in my opinion.

Depends on the use case and the pricing I guess.

$140 aud for a 2tb drive is pretty good over here.  Any opinion on the general quality ?

for general use it's perfectly fine, but with a cheap (compared to other) ssd like this one, or even any ssd at all, i recommend having a backup hard drive/ssd, so if, or more like when it fails, you still have your data

it's SM2263XT + some unverified NAND,
But it's cheap, for 140 AUD 2TB, but for a reason, it's not good one. 

 

I would double check other models if there are any,

They mentioned "general computing" which doesnt sound like it would be intensive in any way.

 

As for other models from the same manufacturer, sometimes the P34A80 isn't much more expensive but it gives faster speeds and way higher endurance.

 

The A60's 1200 TBW, and I assume a 5 year warranty isn't bad but its nothing special. Nor would the speeds if the use is truly general and OP isn't impatient on large or many file copies.

Nevermind guys. I just picked up two TM8FP7002T0C311 from my wholesaler with another order since they were only 110 each.

This is actually good middle level PCIe 4.0, on TLC and DRAM, E16 + ddr + 96l TLC Toshiba. 
110 AUD for 2TB z440 is very good price.
