Hadees

PC specs:

Aftermarket Cooler: Thermaltake Contac 21.

Ram: Corsair vengeance DDR3 2x4 GB.

Motherboard: Asus 970 PRO Gaming/AURA.

HDD: 1x Seagate Barracuda 2TB, Seagate Barracuda 80GB.

Graphics Card: Zotac Nvidia GTX 1650.

Hi guys, After way too much requesting Corsair approved RMA for my out of warranty Corsair TX750M with Corsair RM750 because TX model discontinued by the company. So I'm here to ask should I go for it? And Corsair RM750 is equal or above Corsair TX750M?

Thank you for your precious reply.

RM's are newer, solid PSUs, should be as good or better than your TX. Fully modular too, so possibly a bit less cable clutter than your TX, depending on what cables you do or don't use.

RM is comparable to TX, more silent, and way more recent

Rm is better than the txm since its a newer unit

"Better" isnt exactly quantifiable since the psus only job is to power the system and thats it, but the 2 things it should do noticably better at the very least would be regarding fan noise and capability of handling transients which is useful for newer gpus, rest of the improvements are not noticable unless you test the thing with an oscilloscope

Also you should really upgrade the system or atleast overclock it cause that fx is really holding that gtx 1650 back =p

4.8-5ghz should be doable for the cpu and zambezi does have a good imc so i think 3000+ ddr3 is doable aswell depending on the ram ics

As for a cheap upgrade a used 50-60$ 3600(x) and a ~50$ used midranger b3/450 like the gaming plus/tomahawk with a new 3200c16 16gb kit being around 30$ but you may be able to get cheaper used 2133 8gb double sided samsung/hynix oem rams you can lazy tune to 3800 with 250-300trfc which will crush any new xmp kit

Mine AMD FX 8120 based on bulldozer architecture, AMD FX 8320+ are Zambezi architecture. Way too old I agree 😂. In Search for good offer on other parts.

8320 is vishera

But hey since its old you can have some fun overclocking the shit out of it since 5ghz+ is within the realm of possibility alongside 3000+ ddr3 since the imc is pretty good

Best i got was 2700 ddr3 on an fx 4130 but i think i was using one of my worst psc rams cause the rest can still boot atleast 3000 and i didnt know of samsung gdie at the time that can do 3600+ ddr3
