USB 3.0 rear ports can't recognize my keyboard and mouse plugged into a USB switch in UEFI/bootloader

My motherboard (Gigabyte Aorus X570s Master)'s rear ports can't recognize my keyboard and mouse plugged into its USB 3 ports in UEFI/bootloader.

In this picture, the only ports I have yet to try are the USB 2.0 (few years ago, my keyboard or mouse doesn't seem to power at all, IIRC) & the USB-C.

Front panel ports are confirmed to be working in UEFI/bootloader.

All ports are working when it's fully booted on Kubuntu.

What's the purpose of the blue one with "BIOS"?

Won't peripherals work, like how they are when plugged to my front panel?
