There's no AM5 CPU available, at least not brand new, cheapest AM5 CPU is 230$  180$

 

3600 or 5600 is the answer for your anecdotal question

The other day the 8500g went down on sale to $160, I wish I had gotten that.

I feel like AMD is soooo close to perfecting their iGPUs. The 8000 series iGPUs are already great for very cheap budget builds, so can't wait for the next generation! 

 

And yes I know 8000 series was just released a few days ago. 😂

Not the best way to do it, as builds are balanced and flexible.  Setting a price for one item just limits you when you may save a bit more on another item, allowing allocation of more money to a CPU.
