RTX 4070 Ti good deal?

If the website that's being bought from has a really solid buyer protection system in place, i.e. OP gets a guaranteed refund if it's a scam, then it's a good purchase. Put it in the system, stress test, and find out if you got a great deal.

If the website can't guarantee buyer protection from scammers, the price on this item is a pretty significant red flag.

I've found a deal for used rtx 4070 ti 12GB for 450 bucks, is it a good deal? Should I go forward and buy it? I have a 5 months old msi pro z790s mobo with i7 13700k, 32gb ddr5 6400 ram and a asus gtx 1660ti gpu from my old intel i5 10th gen build. Also a 750W 80 plus gold power supply

It's a corsair rm750. The seller says it didn't fit in his case and out of return window as well as he dropped the card on the floor once and never tested if it works, initially he offered 600 bucks but after negotiating he's down to 450

$450 for what's mostly an $800 graphics card... That sounds suspicious. If you're buying on eBay you have a strong buyer protection to back you up, if you're buying in person you had better have some way to verify the quality of the product before you hand over the money.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I'm from India and it's on ebay equivalent here

30000 rupees + shipping is about 450 bucks

that is slightly suspicious since (for new) you can only go up to something like a 6650 xt (even a 6700 xt starts at 35000 from what I've seen)Amazon.in: Buy Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 6650 XT pci_e_x16 Graphic Card with 8 GB GDDR6, AMD RDNA 2 Online at Low Prices in India | Sapphire Reviews & Ratings

Ok, but I was looking for a card more than 8gb vram actually cuz I do ML stuff and handle very large datasets and I need a good GPU for that. I also do 3d vfx in blender and it takes like 21hrs for me to render a 1 minute sequence that has many assets with my current 1660ti

uhhh thats quite concerning

Also site link? there are some indian people that come to this forum for help with their pc builds so knowing what sites they can use would be pretty helpful since local is almost always better than a foreign site like amazon

here in indo our biggest eshop is called tokopedia, basically the funds get put on hold and wont go to the seller till you accept the item and you can file a complaint if the item is not as described so if it isnt working just file a complaint and if the seller could be uncooperative and youve put evidence that shows the thing you bought isnt as described by the seller then the admins will just refund you anyways, so thats an example of good buyer protection thatll protect you from scammers

Btw if your workload can use multiple gpus you may wanna opt for multiple rtx 3060 since theyre cheap and have 12gb of vram

Yeah actually, it is a red flag, he says ASUS gpu but the pics are of MSI gpu as in the above pic - I'm noticing just now, concerning. I was tempted by the deal. Any good alternative card suggestions for 500 bucks are lower with 12gb vram and with all the latest features such as good ray tracing (for my vfx)?
