Why does my GPU have 3 fan headers but.

2 of the fans are connected to 1 header and the last 2 headers are empty, its an RX 580 gigabyte model, does this allows me to control all the fans at same time so if i want to each fan to have individual control i can separate them or what.

  • Same PCB is shared across multiple models,
  • or they are used for factory testing,
  • or they are RGB headers

Don’t fuck with it, use it as is.

I'd like to know the make and model of the gpu.

Anyway the app Fan Control will allow the full amount of fan control available with your gpu.

I control my gpu fan via Fan Control (but I don't have any fan headers on it).

Its an rx 580 8gb gigabyte model, dosent this info helps
