Tekken 8 Shader Decompression/Compilation Errors on Intel
I have resolved the issue somewhat. The game still crashes from time to time, but Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Customisation, Gallery, Jukebox, and Getting to the Tekken Online Lobby works. I haven't tested online play yet.
This has been tested with 13900k - your results may vary.
- Change your CPU from "Current Microcode" to 0x104. Here's how to do that on ASUS motherboards

- Download and run a program named Process Lasso.
- Run Tekken 8. When it crashes, DO NOT CLOSE THE WINDOW.
- Look for Tekken 8 in Process Lasso.
- Right Click Tekken 8.exe
- Click "CPU Priority > Always" and set to "Real Time"
- Click "CPU Affinity" and click "Disable Hyperthreading"
- Right Click "Polaris"
- Click "CPU Priority > Always" and set to "Real Time"
- Click "CPU Affinity" and click "Disable Hyperthreading"
- In the menu bar, click "Options > CPU > CPU Affinities"
- Double click "tekken 8.exe" and click on "Select"
- You want to dedicate slightly more than half of your P-Cores to Tekken 8. In my example with the 13900k I have 8 P-Cores, that would mean that cores 0, 2, 4, 6 and 8 are selected.
- Select "Ok" and select "Add Rule"
- Repeat this for "polaris", using the remainder of your P-Cores. Again, with our 13900k example, we would use the last three P-Cores, numbered 10, 12 and 14.
- Make sure that the "More strictly enforce default affinites" is checked.
- Click "Ok"
- In the menu bar, click "Options > CPU > CPU Priorities"
- Ensure that the two exe's are set to "Real Time" and that "More Strictly Enforce Default Priorities" at the bottom is checked.
Save the config and relaunch Tekken 8. Happy gaming!
