Network adapter not working

Just got a pc for christmas, my brother built it for me. first when i got it, the network adapter didnt work it "error code 10 status_device_power_failure" but i downloaded a newer version of windows and it worked, but then 10 days or so after it just had the same error and no internet connection so i reinstalled windows and then it worked fine, but now 5 days later it happened once again and i tried fixing it, tried rebooting my pc but its super slow and then came a bluescreen. i have been looking around on youtube and reddit and couldnt find an answer. i hope someone could help me with this because i just wanna play video games without having to worry when or if the network adapter is going to shut off once more. thx in advance πŸ˜‰

Have you been installing any drivers or letting Windows grab them for you? Download the drivers from the motherboard support page.

It's possible. Early revisions of the Intel i225v NICs had quite a few bugs as I understand it.
