PC VR just got a whole lot more fun. A lot of AAA/AA Unreal engine 4/5 are now playable with Praydog's UEVR Injector tool.

Above video gives a glimpse on how it's done.  Mod is currently in open beta and people are already busy creating profiles and modding away at their favorite games. People are currently sharing their profiles via discord/google docs at the moment.

The end goal is to use the Rai Pal Game Library Manager.
List all your unreal engine games.
Load a community created profile for that game. (
Aliens: Fireteam Elite -> 6 Dof controls, first person).
Basically:

Load injector -> Load Profile -> Start game -> Enter the Matrix

For now you'll have to look around their discord channel for profiles to use.

Just to give an idea, here's the list of current game pass games that runs on Unreal Engine that work with the injector.

Here's a bigger list of the games that were tested before release.

So if you ever wanted to play as the cat in Stray, or as Gollum (No judgement, can mark games as private in Steam now) in VR, it's now possible and it's going to get better and better.

PS. Both the injector and library manager are being picked up as false positives currently. That's just one of the current nuances to take into account.
There is a learning curve involved, for example you need to know if you use OpenVR(Air Link/Oculus) or OpenXR(Virtual Desktop/Steam).
