yup, that is correct, but seeing that devils canyon is probably going to be a overclockers heaven (intel claims so) id get a K version if you already have that Z87 mobo

no, its non overclockable, and even if you could, noone can predict how high you can OC, depends on the silicone lotery

New H97 and Z97 chipsets are able to overclock, but only k variants of processors ( devils canyon )

 

I suggest you wait for unlocked version of haswell refresh.
