Notebook audio only working when connected to monitor with built in speaker

bananaMochi

Hi community,

i hope you all have a nice holiday. As you know christmas is family IT support time. Because of this i now got an old Fujitsu Lifebook S760. It was replaced by a new notebook and now i can play with the old one. At first i wanted to reinstall the system at time of release (Windows 7 Pro). My goal is to have a working retro pc for some old software. Everything works fine.

Except:

The device's speakers are not working. I installed every driver from the Fujitsu support page specifically filtered for my device's serial number. The Realtek High Definition Audio Driver also shows up in the installed progams list. For unknown reasons the audio only works when I connect the notebook over HDMI with a monitor with built-in speakers. Then everything is fine.

How can i get the internal notebook speakers to work?

Specs:

Fujitsu Lifebook S760

Windows 7 Professional, 64 Bit

Realtek High Definition Audio Driver ALC269, Version 6.0.1.5911 (08/17/2009) (installed and visible in all-programs-list)

Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD, Version 8.15.10.2025 (12/18/2009)

In the attachments you can find screenshots. It is a system localized for german language.

Have a nice holiday 🎆🎇🌃🎄
