Psu has 41a on the 12v rail so 492w

Everything aside from the gpu is unlikely to surpass 120w

 

 

According to this video the 5700xt consumes 275w which will be well within the psus capabilities

 

 

I assume you are buying used? In which case id reccomend trying to find a 6600xt as that should be basically the same perf but alot less power draw, as long as pricing is similar its a better card

 

You might aswell oc the 5500 as it should be capable of around 4.5-4.6g allcore at ~1.3v which is much better than whatever pathetic 4ghz allcore it does stock and also ensures the gpu wont be bottlenecked in some more cpu heavy games

 

Also prefferable to run the rams at ~4600 or however high theyll go as the 5500 has half the cache of the 5600 but a much better imc and is capable of 5000+ in 1:1 so higher ram freq should compensate abit for the lack of cache

RAM: 2 * 8GB DDR4 3200MHz

Storage: M.2 SSD, SSD and HDD

 

I'm wondering If my PSU would be able to handle RX 5700 XT in this configuration. I'm aware that recommended PSU power for this GPU is 650W.

Someone that has a 5500 is not going to pay the crazy prices involved in getting ddr4 binned to run at 5000mhz.

CPU : Ryzen 7 7800X3D @ -18mv all core except -13mv on Core 5 because its a pig.

Case Fans : Arctic p12's everywhere i can fit them in , 7 In total.

No you do not need a binned kit to hit high frequencies as i demonstrate in these pics, just some generic 1333 samsung sticks, part number m378b2873gb0, ics are samsung g die just by looking at the part number, running at 3136 ddr3 with an i7 930, hoping to hit 3600+ when i get a gulftown chip or a xeon w which these rams are certainly capable of as im only using 2.1v here and theres 0.5v of headroom left

 

Even in those generic plastic heatspreader xmp kits if you are lucky and dont get trash samsung c die that tops out at 3733 you may get an ic like hynix djr which is capable of 5000+ even in unbinned state though unbinned sticks will need higher voltage compared to a binned 4800 stick or something like that (say 1.7v for 5200c19 on a binned 4800 kit vs 1.85v for that same speed on an unbinned 2666/3200 oem kit), and yes these are common ics

 

Ics >>>>> binning with an exception for extremely inconsistent ones like samsung b die, emphasis on inconsistent here cause oem bdie is trash, but oem micron rev e be it 2400 d9vpp or 2666 c9bjz will very consistently hit 4600-5000

 

But i dont reccomend trying to go much past 4600 due to really high frequencies being a massive pain to tune and stabilize
