Rogue Company runs in the background??

So i downloaded RC a while back on my laptop with decent specs ( 3070, 11800h, 32gb). when ever i try to run the game, the "Easy Anti-Cheat" pops up as normal but after that nothing happens. The game does launch but its in the background??
Theres no indication on the taskbar that its running. Not even task manager shows it running.

The only way i know its running it due to it, for some reason, showing up in the 'Omen Gaming Hub' Task manager.
Anyone know wats going on??

 My drivers r up to date but cant think of anything else...

I don't think anyone can do much for you without looking at things up close. You'll need to take out possible causes one by one to see what's causing an issue. It could be a long process. Maybe some anti-virus or other bloatware is causing this, maybe outdated drivers. Could be anything. You already have one bloatware by the name of Omen Gaming Hub installed, you might be having other things in there too.

i have not anti-virus and drivers r upto date

i uninstalled the game restarted the pc and reinstalled it
but still have the same issue

The advice @Mark Kaine gave you was to uninstall Omen Gaming Hub, not the game.

I just tried to run RC on my desktop over the weekend and it didn't actually start, but was left running in the background.

Could it be something dodgy posing as RC so you don't become too suspicious if it is running...well, until you have now.

 

But, you know what I mean.

yeah its the game, try getting a refund,  tell them you will rebuy (at a discount) when they fixed their pos software, gotta teach these companies a lesson!

I just uninstalled it on epic launcher and downloaded on steam and it works fine
