4770k for sure. 4820k is for 2011 socket wright? 2011 socket is only good with hex a corers (6 cores). Otherwise get hasswell.

z97 is better then x79 in my current opinion, of course that can change and with a lot of gpus you would be better off with 2011 but i wouldnt go with x79 or x99 unless i was going for a 4930 or above.

apparently the new sixcore will have 4.4Ghz boost. they have also better cpu cooler though.

the i5 will have 4.0Ghz

So give that, and that they will have better TIM and possibly ( most probably ) stepping, id say they will go 4.8Ghz or even 5ghz on air.

you got a solid point, Probably they will since the current Line up can boost up to 800Mhz add up so, i guess yeah, from 4.0Ghz stock will boost to 4.9Ghz will decent cooling

I think only one core boosts that high, the rest are like 4.3-4.1.

 

I'm sure it's simple to just boost the rest to 4.4 and add like .025 volts though
