LTT Shorts?

So around May (I think) I listened to a WAN Show where Linus had a merch message that asked why LTT (and I think other LMG channels as well) had stopped making YouTube Shorts. Linus replied to the message and said that they just didn't find it profitable enough for the time it took to make a Short. 

 

Recently, I've been seeing LTT create YouTube shorts (in fact, they uploaded one yesterday). Does anyone know what changed?
