$500 CAD PC for CS2

Budget (including currency): $500 CAD

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: CS2, TF2, Sekiro, DOOM Eternal, Ultrakill, Elden Ring, R6 Siege, RDR2

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

I need a monitor also, I would prefer 120 Hz as I want it to be as smooth as possible. I already have a solid keyboard, and a good mouse with a pad, so all I need is a monitor and maybe some headphones too.

Yeah new not happening. You'll have to find a used gaming rig from the past couple of years

True, but do you think its possible without the monitor? I don't really need it right now.

Best I can do is a integrated gpu rig or a mediocre ryzen system with a used old gpu.

and then you have like 40$ for a gpu. MAYBE a rx470/570 8gb is an option but thats about it. Thats for 60fps in modern games basically. Your budget is too small. I already used parts that are not good but will do the job. Psu is excellent btw lucky find really.

Thanks a lot for this. I'll just save up some more and put it into the gpu i guess

Honestly get at least 700 cad. Then we can get you away from a not good cpu and at least a board that isn't crap (it's 15 cad more for a good one). Then for gpu a rx480/580 will have to do

I came up with this as a mixture of both lists and went over budget by $35. I found the same gpu for $120. Is it looking good?

What do you define as good? CS2 is quite demanding if you want to game competetively and not give a meaningful advantage with HW alone. Try to get an nvidia gpu because it has reflex, with amd you have to limit fps to somewhere near 60 if you dont want to give a huge 20-30ms advantage on gpu heavy spots like fading smokes etc.

Since your budget is very low I will reccomend you to build an Intel Arc A380 pc. This pc will even be able to play even some latest games at 30 fps and will cost 624 CAD in total including a monitor-
