Running a gtx 750 ti and a AMD rx 6650 xt on ONE MOTHERBOARD?

Hello , so my gpu recently died. It was a gtx 1660 with a dvi output that supported 144hz. Now i am upgrading soon to a 6650xt and have a old b350 board lying around and was wondering if i can run the 6650xt over the main pcie x16 slot and then use the 750 ti on the other x16 slot. The reason for doing this is because my monitor only supports 144hz over DVI-D which my 750 has but my 6650xt doesn't. I play some competitive games where i want to utilize the full 144hz that my monitor offers which is only dooable from my 750 ti but i also want to play newer singleplayer games at good settings which i can only do with my 6650xt. So i was wondering if i add both my gpus into my mobo but only plug ONE of them at a time to my monitor , will the monitor gpu run at the full pcie lanes? My processor is a ryzen 5 3500 which can only handle 16 lanes at a time so im not sure if the GPUs will get divided into 8x2 or run at 16 when i use only one of them.

Those active adapters are worth almost as much as a new monitor in my country sadly. The cheaper ones only support 1080p@60hz
