Here’s my ARBG header connected to the RGB wire of the corsair fan.

So pin 3 on the motherboard is blank, whereas corsair aRGB is a 4 pin design (Dout is added to the blank spacing iirc). I believe the other pins are the same, however, they are not a physical fit to each other and will be rather loose.

I don’t know if they are brighter than this, but I’ve found them quite bright. From the picture above you can have a glimpse.

It's hard to say. Mine are white. I'll try to remember to look when I get home.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

I'm not sure how important this is, but my SP120s are "31-006882", whereas yours are "CO-9050108-WW".

Since yours are black I can't accurately compare since that color affects how much light is reflected. Ignoring that, your LEDs don't seem as bright.

Don't mind the mess. It's my testing rig.

Thanks for the feedback. I bought a corsair node anyway and I'll post a feedback later on. I wish I could have used the motherboard header instead.

Just in case, since Corsair sucks at documentation, don't forget to plug it into your PSU via the SATA cable, and into your mobo with the other cable.
