i cant use the remote play on my pc

Hello there, so i recently just bought a ps5 disc version and i trying to using remote play on my PC for my ps5 and when i try to connect my ps5 it always says SOMETHING WENT WRONG. (8801330f)

But it works just fine on my android phone, anybody got a solution? Thank you.

If you've followed the guides correctly then something's blocking your PC's access. Maybe a firewall or some antivirus you have installed. But honestly, you're not missing much, it's a very useless feature as the video compression is terrible no matter what.

I had this issue a few months back... saw a post in reddit saying that ps remoteplay on pc is dependent on microsoft edge webview2 runtime... try repairing that.

@sh1te i found the video I used to fix my issue without the webview2 runtime thing. Used it jsut now to log back in to remote play as I funnily enough was logged out of it and had to find the solution again. Can confirm it is still working.

Here you go.

You just need to change some of the steps where you're asked to inspect the login page as there have been changes to the login screen to PSN. the link to sign in will be named a bit differently but you can easily find it in the sony labeled folder. sorry i was not able to take a screenshot.
