Epic Games security breach?

Hey I just wanted to ask you all guys if ther is some kind of security breach on Epic Games bc some of my Friends have lost there Epic Acc at the same time and cant get it  back bc they changed the E-Mail Address and the Epic Support is not really helping. Does anyone else have these problems?

I'm not seeing anything on Google but there could very well be a hack. I'm not having any problems though

Once one account is compromised, they often use it to message friend accounts with phishing links to steal theirs too.

Haven't seen anything in the news, though if it is happening, it wouldn't be the 1st time for Epic:
