Does overclocking void warranty??

Hi guys,

 

I am not really sure if overclocking voids warranty. I have this cpu: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646i54670k

 

Also what is the best program to overclock with

It is a k CPU made for overclocking so i highly doubt it

Also for overclocking, you should watch tutorials to learn to Overclock, that is the easiest way =D.

how do they know you can just say it broke

If the cpu gets to hot and breaks because of overclocking will that void the warranty?  I doubt I will have any problems with my cooler though: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/be-quiet-cpu-cooler-bk019

If it gets too hot system simply turns off.

overclocking MIGHT void your warrenty, this however totally depends on the company you buy it form and their rules.

 

for overclocking it is the best to use the bios directly, but form wHAT I have seen and heard is that asus it's 5 Way Optimization is also pretty good.

altough it is limited to certain motherboards, but that doesnt make it less interesting to me.

overclocking only voids warranty if you tell the manufacturer, dont ever tell them :)
