RX 6750 GRE launch in China shows specs and performance. Up to 30% faster than an RTX 4060 at a similar price (at least in China

Summary

Sapphire launched the 6750 GRE earlier today in China with specs and performance metrics too. It's TBD when it will be released in the US and EU, however, according to this post it says October 18th, that hasn't happened though

AMD has introduced two SKUs with closely resembling names, both under the RX 6750 GRE banner. The RX 6750 GRE AURORA is based on the 12GB model, which translates to more cores, increased memory, and a higher TDP. In essence, this Sapphire card resembles a down-clocked RX 6750 XT more than the 12GB model.

Official specifications indicate that the card offers game and boost clocks at 2475/2585 MHz, respectively. However, the standout feature is the memory clock. Unlike AMD’s reference 2000 MHz (16 Gbps), this particular model boasts a higher speed of 2250 MHz (18 Gbps), aligning it with the memory specifications of the RX 6750 XT.

Sapphire also shared a few performance figures with the graphics card being faster than the RTX 4060 from NVIDIA across several titles and even surpassing the rival by 30% in COD: MW2. The RTX 4060 retails for around 2300-2600 RMB so that's a very competitive price to performance for the RX 6750 GRE on offer here. The card is unfortunately mostly sold in the Asian Pacific markets with a limited availability in global retail channels.

The AURORA card is now listed on Chinese e-tail platforms for around 2699 RMB so about 13% higher price and MSRP (2379 RMB) for RX 6750 GRE 12GB in China. These prices converted are around $370 and $325 respectively. These prices are most likely to change if they were to be released in the western markets as these prices are either quite close or quite a bit higher than the 6700 XT's price

Measuring at 31 centimetres in length, the AURORA features a substantial 2.5 slot design, complete with a metallic blue shroud and backplate. It’s equipped with three fans to handle cooling.

The company provided some benchmarks featuring this model, claiming it to be faster than RTX 4060, but then most RX 6750 GRE 12GB models are expected to be faster.

My thoughts

Specs aren't horrible but if it were to be launched in the western world they would have to change the price quite a bit (to at least a $270 msrp IMP to be an OK choice for the 12GB GRE card)

Looks quite cool but the problem is underneath. i.e. the 6750 GRE's a bit of a weird and expensive (at least in Yuan) product. Looks cool tho. But based on the pictures and specs it has the dimensions nearly of an MSI 4090 Gaming X Slim. Just a bit shorter and maybe a bit slimmer. But this is still quite a big card

Agreed. Most of their Pulse designs are in that direction. I really wanted a Sapphire card, but it wasn't meant to be.

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)
