Measure / Visualize USB Port Bandwith

Ishimuro

Hello there fine community ❤️

TLDR: Can I somehow see the max bandwidth and current use of it for a USB Port.

I want to maximize the use I can get out of my Laptop for Livestreaming and Recording (Asus Flow X16 2022) with all USB 3.1gen2 Ports (10 gigabit). I had a USB C Hub connected to it with Webcam, GoXLR, Streamdeck etc. It works like a charm, however adding the new Capture card (Elgato streamer X or what its called) made it drop devices. So I moved it to its own Port. However: I assume this port still has some headroom which I'd like to take advantage of via another Hub. Can some Program visualize to me how much bandwith a given USB Device is sucking up from this port?

Have a great day :)

yeah, by doing a file transfer,  assuming you're on windows. shows exactly how much "bandwidth" is left...
