So long as you aren't running like 2400 RAM, it shouldn't make a real difference at the framerates you'll be getting.

im thinking of upgrading my gpu to a 4060 ti i have a ryzen 5 5600x and i was wondering if it was going to bottleneck the gpu , im going to update sooner or later i was thinbking about Ryzen 5 7600X , i just seen that the socket isnt the same as my motherboard so i wont be upgrading it soon , so i need to know if it is going to bottleneck the 4060 ti

A 4060ti is not going to be significantly "bottlenecked" by a 5600x, it's a balanced pairing. If it was a 1600x: it would definitely be a significant bottleneck.

You could get a 4060 ti or spend a bit more for something with a bit more VRAM. Or buy used.

Even better. 1440p is gonna be fine just fine with that pairing. And with the 16gb version you mentioned you should be double fine. Would say to look at something like a 6800XT if you don't need RT/DLSS.

idk if ram is a big deal with that but i also have 64 ram  idk if it influences the bottleneck.

  • 5 weeks later...

Yeah, where I live, the prices are also ... interesting. RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB is about 520 EUR. If you can find it for 400 EUR, it's a good deal, unless you can find better deals from AMD. RTX 4070 here is at least 640 EUR and also it might require a power supply upgrade for some people.

For me personally, AMD is not an option, since I need CUDA cores for some specific workloads. So, RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB does not look that bad at all.
