online vs in store

tdkid

i am posting this here because i dont feel like it belongs anywhere else but do you people prefer to do your online shopping and having what you bought shipped to your home or do you prefer to go to a store and look at the item, hold it in your hands and see if that will work for you? i am kind of a in store person because i want to know that not only will the item work for me but that also i will not have to return it because it was damaged upon delivery and then have to wait weeks more for a replacement. specifically on big ticket items like TVs, GPUs, gaming consoles, phones any most other things.

what are your opinions?

For tech stuff I can travel to stores like Best buy, Micro Center and a few small shops.
