Defective GPU?

I do believe that my GPU is defective. It's not running like it should be. After running Superposition benchmark I have found out that my score with my 7900xt is on par with a 2080TI. How is that right by any means? I scored 11,700 points. I mean it runs games and works but it seems to be at much lesser performance level

Background tasks, drivers up to date, CPU?

Ram speed, resizeable bar.

 

 

all these things play into GPU performance. post full specs and give more info.

Probably that his 7900 XT is getting worse performance than it should.

 

Lets say that 7900 XT is supposed to get 140 FPS in MW2.

 

Maybe he's getting 100 FPS in MW2 which isn't how much that card is capable of.

What CPU do you have ?

Drivers are up to date CL at 36 DDR5 32GB

CPU is 7900x

On a side note - do you know how the hell can i make freakin MSI show me my damn number in-game ?

 

I literally am dicking around with it for the past 1 hour and still can't get that thing to show me what i need.

How do I show FPS on my screen using MSI Afterburner?

 

Enabling Rivatuner Statistics Server

1. Run MSIAfterburner.exe and click on the Settings icon.
2. Head to the Monitoring tab and enable the Framerate option under the Active hardware monitoring graphs section.
3. Toggle the Show in On-Screen Display checkbox.
4. Choose Apply and press OK to save your configuration.

I got that working eventually.

 

But i'm facing a weird problem.

 

I'm in SW Jedi Survivor and in the options menu says "Nvidia Frame Generation - unsupported".

 

Any idea what i can do to enable it ?

There may be a mod for it, no idea.  But if it's not natively supported in game, sorry.

Sur, but if it's no supported by the game... Windows may not be able to simply override it.

 

Google spefically enabling it in your game.

But the option is in the game graphic menu.

 

I literally have the option called Nvidia Frame Generation and it's greyed out, says "unsupported".

 

Do i have to enable it in windows first ?
