No need to reinstall the OS. Just reinstall the latest chipset driver from AMD and that's it.

you don't, you just need to install the right chipset drivers and update your bios either via BIOS flashback or M-Flash

First thing to do is backup your data.

Modern Windows is OK with motherboard changes so you may not need to re-install. But its considered best practice to do it anyway.

If all goes well you can probably boot up into your existing install without any issues. From there you can decide if you want to re-install or not.

You can but honestly I have done that and it can be buggy. Usually a clean install is usually cleaner and causes less problems in my experience.

You should get an activation error with Windows since the UEFI stores the product key. I would just select the "I recently changed hardware" option which should let you reactive with the same license at least once.

Otherwise, transplanting Windows works far better than it should and I've absolutely abused that feature several dozen times since Windows 10 came out. Your Windows 10/11 install is effectively your computer, the rest is just the hardware its hooked up to, so transplanting it to various systems with various hardware hasn't given me a single issue (unless RAID, dynamic disk, other non standard configurations like that).
