Has Amazon Scammed me? 64GB Ram showing as 16GB Ram

Yep, agreed.

Hi guys think I know the answer but just want to ask those that know to confirm what I suspect.
Current System I have Corsair 16GB (2x8GB) 4000Mhz Ram,

I want to get into some video editing (as well as generally wanting to max out my B550 System) so thought I'd get some more ram.  motherboard is a MSO B550 Unify-X so only has 2 Dimm slots.

Found a good price for a 64GB (2x32GB) 3600Mhz set on Amazon.
However when I installed it, it was only showing 16GB being used, thought it might be a legacy issue from the old Ram so cleared BIOS/CMOS and nothing changed,

after further inspection BIOS is showing it as 2x8GB 3000Mhz (see screenshots below)

The physical label on the RAM specifies CMK64GX4M2D3600C18 so 'claims' to be the correct RAM

So as I suspect is this just a blatant scam or is there a BIOS quirk that I need to set to get it showing up (think I know when Bezos is pulling a fast one thought 😞 )

Below should be 2 pictures of the BIOS with the ahem 64GB 3600 set (showing as 16GB 3000) and 2 pictures of my current 16GB 4000 set.
As well as a picture of the physical Sticks 1 of each

Sorry didn't realised the BIOS snapshots would be download and not show in the post.
They are just BIOS screen captures so are safe.

With the new sticks in, run CPU-Z and screenshot the SPD tab.

If the sticker on the stick says 64GB, just return it to amazon, say you changed your mind, no questions asked refund.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone had swapped their old sticks and did just that by carefully peeling the stickers and putting them back on.

But if you say product is faulty or whatever... YOU are the one getting the short hand of the stick with Amazon, because go prove you're not the one who swapped them.

Erm forgive the screenshot technique, haven't been able to open Snipping tool for a while now (think it's microsoft annoyed I'm over my one drive limit but ? )
Both slots are the same details, everything point to a scam (jut checked my Amazon order and they were down as used from amazon warehouse so suspect someone bought them and swapped out the labels to return for a refund but returned these instead?)

Paid for it on CC so I'm insured either way.
Don't want it going back and someone buying it and not realising until they are stuck with it. I'll let them know and if they kick up a fuss claim on CC insurance.
Need taking out of the loop.

From your screenshot it's not the ram you ordered as it's showing as a 2x8GB kit. So yup you got taken (and probably Amazon as well).

If you do that on your cc they will ban your name and address from being used on amazon again. Exhaust all options with amazon first.
