An RTX 3060 Ti FE that was used for mining - worth buying?

Hello,

 

I see a few people in my area selling 3060 Ti FE cards where some of them were used for mining.

 

Is this too much of a risk? Specifically also for the FE cards ( I want an FE card ) - are their thermals worse? And if used for mining are they more prone to being damaged?

 

Anything to look for before buying? Price is around $240

they carry the same risk as any used PC parts, just make sure they work, ask them to run stresstest in front of you if possible

 

just like how used hardware conditions differs from user to user, mining hardware does as well
