Background Info: Harvested the case (With CPU and different GPU) from a recycling center and the rest of the parts are harvested from various PCs I already owned

 

CPU: Intel Core i7 10700E

 

GPU: AMD RX Radeon 6600 

 

RAM: 32gb miscellaneous DDR4 RAM

 

PSU: Meanwell SDF-480-24 configurable PSU

 

Storage: 1TB NVME

 

Case : Axiomtech IPC970 Case and Motherboard

Geez that thing must have cost some big cashmoney for the company that bought it

 

Feels like a data reception node for something. Unsure what for looks cool af.

 

If it was free hellova score.

 

Is this passively cooled? Or dus rhe cpu just look passively cooled by the case?

 

If passive you can get some decent long boost out of it by simply putting a fan on the amoutside of the case

The CPU is passively cooled by the giant heat sink on the case, to my knowledge the PC was used for an autonomous warehouse cart hence all the USBs for cameras.

Makes perfect sense then.

 

If you see it goin past 85c (this thing acts more like a mobile chip) there is a good chance it will start lowering boost clocks. So some extra air will help there.

 

Should take a bit to get there with that thermal mass
