Wow, I almost forgot about this. Between then and now QMK-compatible PCBs have nosedived in price, and VIA brings in QMK-style functionality with a GUI, but admittedly less powerful than them.

https://www.keychron.com/products/keychron-v6-qmk-custom-mechanical-keyboard <- 89 buck for 104-key, fully assembled and with Keychron decent post purchase support.

https://kbdfans.com/collections/pcb/products/kbd67markii-pcb <- Cheapest VIA compatible PCB that i would rely on, any 60% tray mount case should be able to mount to it. Something like this.

https://kbdfans.com/collections/case/products/kbd67-abs-plastic-case

And of course, there's always Corsair with iCue which supports full keyboard remapping support, but then you have to deal with iCue stupidly high RAM usage.

So i have 2 keyboards at use on my pc. I want to use one of them as a stream deck like product that can play soundboard like stuff for discord and other stuff. I was wondering if I can make the 2nd keyboard so i wont be use by windows as a normal keyboard.
