Which sound card do I need for HyperX QuadCast S?

SandyBay

Now I am considering buying HyperX QuadCast S. Now I have ALC892 codec but I am considering buying a new motherboard with ALC1220 or ALC4080, I'll buy it when the next generation of Ryzen Ryzen 9 8950X CPU will be released because now I have 2700X and it will not go to AM5 socket and to buy a new motherboard now and in several months again is not a smart idea.
Is it enough of my current audio codec to discover this mic 100%? And if it is not enough is it enough of my next audio codec for that? I also can buy an external sound card but with one issue. I can buy my stuff at one store. Moderator SansVarnic dined me to say why so. And there is a small choice of sound cards. But it includes so models like Razer THX Onyx, Asus Xonar U7 MKII, Asus Xonar U5, Vention CDRBB USB, Orico SKT3-BK-BP, Ugreen USB 2.0, Ugreen US205 USB AUX Jack TRRS, Savio AK-01 7.1, Intracom USB Manhattan 3D 7.1 Surround RTL, Dynamode C-Media 108, Dynamode USB C-Media 108 USB-SOUND7, Dynamode USB C-Media 108 USB-SOUND7-ALU, Gemix SC-02.

I don't think you need any. It's a USB microphone, so it probably has one built-in - I use a regular QuadCast myself and it's just a plug & play microphone with pretty good quality.

Adding to what others have said... no sound card needed.

Mics that have everything built into them... have everything built into them.

Also sound cards have largely been a "solved problem" for around 20 years. It was DEFINITELY the case 30 years ago that sound cards made a HUGE difference.
