Unless the games you play are currently CPU bound and benefit from either more cores or the increased cache of the X3D, you won't notice any performance increase.

You can buy used 5800x3d for around 200-250$ and used 5800x for around 150$

Seems like a pretty minor upgrade till we start looking at x3d, you can get a tad extra performance with a decent ram oc so id reccomend that or a used 5800x3d

Full system specs please.

Because a 5800x or 5800x3d run hot/dont transfer heat as well you need good cooling. So cooler and case are important to know.

Board is important to know as well simply put the lowest end stuff cant run a 8 core at full force.

What games are you upgrading for? A 5600 is still plenty fast.

The rest of the specs?

The 5600, 5600X, 5700X, and 5800X have about the same performance in games. The additional cores help IF you're heavily multitasking. Or for productivity.

The 5900X and 5950X sometimes have better game performance than those because of having more L3 cache, but not a huge performance gain.

The 5800X3D, on the other hand, is a gaming beast on the AM4 platform, BUT it's only needed if you're rocking a mid-range or high-end GPU on 1080p or a high-end GPU on 1440p.

Which means you're not CPU bound. A faster CPU will, at best, improve minimum fps or 1% lows. A faster CPU is needed if your GPU utilization is well below 90%.

So a cpu upgrade will give you exactly 0% extra performance then
