[SOLVED] AM5 won't boot/doesn't recognize more than 2 RAM

Go to solution Solved by Chriexpe,

Late update (that I forgot to do before), it turns out one of the RAM sticks doesn't work, as well as any other RAM that shares the same lane as it (A1 - A2 or B1 - B2).

I've built a new rig that I intended to use it with 4x32GB CL32 6400MT/s modules, but I knew that I couldn't run at that speed, and it did worked fine at 4800MT/s CL30, BUT, now the tricky part starts, I tried to improve timings as I couldn't change the frequency (wouldn't post), so I used Buildzoid's timings, and if I'm not mistaken after manually setting the voltages (exactly as the video, CPU 1.25v and Mem 1.4/1.35v (that ARE the voltages specified in the memory) the motherboard stopped recognizing more than 2 sticks at a time (one time I got 3 working, but only after rearranging in different slots many times), tho I'm not sure when this happened because I only realized later when stress testing with Memtest86+.

I tried using these memory with another XPG Lancer that I had and couldn't get it all working anyway, with only one memory at the first slot near the CPU it didn't work too (even that XPG Lancer), or other times only the first two (A_1 A_2) or more frequently the last pair (B_1 B_2) worked, even tho all sticks where installed... I don't know what to do or who to blame, apparently all my RAM memory work fine, so... Who to blame aside me? CPU or Motherboard? Which one is more susceptible to this? The only way to troubleshoot would be with different parts but for that I'd need to buy them (and later return it).

Yes, I also cleaned with a very soft paint brush w/ a bit of ispropyl Alcohol the socket pins and CPU contact pad, loosened the air cooler and socket mount, reseated both many times...

Also EVERY TIME, even when all slots where recognized it took around 1:40min just to POST, which is an absurd.

This is the original stock timings (with 4x32GB):

Interestingly enough, in one of the tests with two sticks installed on A_2 and B_2 I was able to run 2x32GB 6400MT/s 32-39-39 (passmark result) Was stable and everything, BUT later when I went to tried again all sticks (before writing this post) it stopped working and I couldn't replicate this result again, and apparently, now I can't even run on two separate memory channels (A and B).

Unfortunately this is why AMD came up with EXPO and why its best to buy a whole RAM kit. Though not sure 4x32GB kits exist yet as 2x32GB kits only recently became available in my region.

I assume you're on the latest BIOS?

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7

Yes, F11a.

What I'm really afraid is that I might have, somehow, damaged the motherboard or CPU.

I assume the obvious of resetting the BIOS?

I did, because most of the time it wouldn't post so resetting was the only way out.
