Posted July 24, 2023 No, you cannot. And even if you could, you won't beat an off-the-shelf cable modem on power efficiency. You can make your own router and firewall using a variety of systems (like OPNSense), but you can't recreate the DOCSIS cable modem part. I sold my soul for ProSupport.
