Overly frustrated with this

jeezdeez

Hi there! I currently running into some issues with my pc as of the moment.

I ran an ASUS B450M PRIME A-II Motherboard, Ryzen 5 5600G, RX 580 ROG STRIX 8Gb and a Mamba Ghost 550w psu.

Then I opted to upgrade my GPU and sell it.

I bought an XFX Merc 6600XT but when I installed it theres no display and is also beeping (1 long 3 short) though fans were spinning. I even bought a new PSU (Cougar XTC 650W)  I wasnt able to solve it within the day so I returned it from the store and they replaced it with another gpu with the same model.

But then, it happened again, no display, fans spinning, beeping and sht.

From there, would the problem be the motherboard already? I am scared that the ports were already fried and I am scared to return this again ofc.

The question is, how come that I have had an RX 580 that was installed before and never had this kind of issue. But when I decided to upgrade all of a sudden, I got sht on by these issues.

Any thoughts?

It is not included on the manual actually which sucks but upon looking it up online, its an indicator for gpu error for Asus motherboards. But pls correct me if I'm wrong.

one long three short is always gpu not present but bios is posting.

your board has a bunch of bios updates related to system compatibility so update the bios before installing the gpu

Still the same unfortunately. Beeping still and no signal.

Re-seated the GPU, RAM and CMOS battery already. Seems like it really is a bad motherboard
